At CPAWSB, we believe that true excellence in education comes from fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered. That’s why we are excited to introduce new Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) resources designed to support both our learners and contractors. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to creating a learning space that embraces diverse perspectives and provides equitable opportunities for all.
CPAWSB is dedicated to ensuring that all learners have access to the tools and support they need to succeed. Our EDI resources will provide guidance, educational materials, and opportunities for discussion on creating inclusive spaces in the CPA profession. We encourage learners to explore these resources and contribute their insights.
We value your input. Learners can share their thoughts and feedback about EDI at CPAWSB by filling out the feedback form on the EDI webpage. Your feedback will help shape our ongoing efforts to enhance inclusivity.
CPAWSB is also sharing resources for contractors to help integrate EDI principles into their teaching and mentoring practices. These materials will offer strategies for fostering diverse and inclusive learning experiences.
In June 2024, CPAWSB collaborated with organizational consulting firm Beyond Diversity, Inc. to assess contractors' needs in areas such as bias, cultural competence and psychological safety. This collaboration led to the development of flexible, self-paced micro-learning modules aimed at enhancing EDI awareness among contractors. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand our EDI initiatives.
