Feb 7, 2023

Registration for all CPA preparatory courses and exams offered between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, is now open!

You must complete annual re-enrollment and pay annual fees for 2023/2024 to access registration for all course and exam offerings offered between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

Course and Exam Schedules

Here is the delivery schedule for CPA preparatory core courses. Registration is currently open for 2023 Semester 2. Registration for 2023 Semester 3, 4, 5 and 2024 Semester 1 and 2 is available upon completing annual re-enrollment.

Once registered for a course, students can register for an examination. Review the schedules and deadlines

Exams in 2023 will primarily be held in-person at exam writing centres. CPAWSB is also delivering some exams remotely using a remote proctoring tool. This will allow students to write their exams from the comfort of their own homes using their own computers, while ensuring the integrity of the exams themselves.  Currently the Business Law (BUL) and Economics (ECO) course exams are being delivered this way, and CPA is working to expand this to more courses.

Please regularly review the 2023 and 2024 exam schedule posted on our website for updated dates / times, registration deadlines, and withdrawal deadlines.

Open Enrollment Core Courses

In the 2023/2024 academic year, Intermediate Financial Reporting 1 (IF1) and Taxation (TAX) will be piloted as open enrollment, self-paced courses. Students registering for these courses will be able to register at any time and access course materials within five business days of enrollment. Students can complete the course materials and qualify for the final exam at their own pace, as long as the final exam is written at one of the available exam sittings within one year of the course registration date.

Intermediate Financial Reporting 1 (IF1) and Taxation (TAX) will only be available as open enrollment courses, all other core courses will continue to be offered in one of the five available semesters. More information is available here.

2023/24 Administrative Fees

Student Annual Re-enrollment

Annual re-enrollment for the 2023/2024 academic year is now open. Annual re-enrollment is required for all students taking CPA preparatory courses and includes completing a re-enrollment form online and paying annual fees ($610 plus GST for April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024). Please follow the annual re-enrollment instructions to complete the re-enrollment process and remit the fees.

Annual re-enrollment fees are due by March 31, 2023, to maintain CPAWSB student status and continue to be eligible to register in CPA preparatory courses. Student status will be suspended for anyone who does not complete the annual re-enrollment process by May 31, 2023. Anyone who fails to complete annual re-enrollment for 2023/2024 and wants to take courses on or after April 1, 2023, will need to complete the transcript assessment process again.

Please note that if you plan to apply for the Spring 2023 intake of the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) you are required to complete student annual re-enrollment first.
