Apply for Admission to CPAWSB

Before registering for a module in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) or a CPA preparatory course, applicants must first be admitted to CPAWSB.

IMPORTANT: CPAWSB only accepts applications from people who will be governed by CPA bodies in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut). If you wish to register for CPA PEP or CPA preparatory courses outside of the Western Region, do not apply for admission to CPAWSB. Please contact CPA Ontario, CPA Atlantic, or CPA Quebec directly for more information about applying in those regions.

Before starting the admission process it is important to identify your applicant type. Your applicant type will determine:

• The admission steps you need to follow
• The documents you will need to have submitted to CPAWSB
• The resources and information you will need access to

You are an active member in ‘good standing’ of an international accounting body.

Note: The MRA/RMA and MOU pathways do not apply to applicants who received their MRA/RMA or MOU designation membership through a recognition agreement with another accountancy body.

Note: if you have also completed a Canadian undergraduate or master’s degree you should apply as an applicant with a Canadian degree.

You are holding or completing a recognized 3-year applied degree, 4-year undergraduate degree, and/or a master’s (graduate) degree in any field of study from a Canadian post-secondary institution.

You may qualify to enroll under Mature Status.
