Introduction to the CPA Profession Module (D2L)
The provincial and territorial CPA bodies in the western region and CPAWSB have produced this optional self-study module for CPAWSB learners enrolled in the CPA certification program.
Through this module, learners will understand the ethical and professional conduct requirements, and benefits and obligations, associated with the CPA profession as a member and as a learner.
The module takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to complete and consists of the following topic areas:
- The importance of CPAs to society
- Governance of the profession
- Conduct expected of learners
- Excelling within the boundaries
- Staying in compliance and where to get help
