Capstone 1 Scheduling
The Capstone 1 module is approximately eight weeks long and is offered twice annually.
- Winter (Late-January to Late-March)
- Spring (Early-May to Late-June/Early-July)

The following illustration provides an overview of when candidates would typically take Capstone 1, Capstone 2 and the Common Final Examination.

Capstone 1 and Day 1 CFE Relationship
Day 1 of the CFE consists of a single four-hour case linked to the Capstone 1 case that candidates work on during the Capstone 1 module. When writing the Day 1 case, candidates have access to the Capstone 1 case but do not have access to their group’s response or any sample responses.
