Working in a professional environment often requires effective collaboration within teams that comprise diverse personalities, communication styles, and varying availability. Capstone 1 is designed to prepare candidates for these real-world scenarios by fostering the development of enabling competencies.
Team challenges are common in any group setting. Candidates are expected to address significant team issues by first reporting them to the facilitator through peer reviews, chat calls, or email. If the facilitator cannot assist in resolving the issue, it will be escalated to the mentor and, if necessary, to the regional or provincial administrator.
Demonstrating enabling competencies is essential to resolving typical team challenges. If a team is unable to do so, individuals who hinder the resolution process may risk failing Capstone 1 on an individual basis, even if the team as a whole meets the requirements for the written report and oral presentation components.
If you or your team members still feel additional support is needed to address unresolved team dynamics, you are encouraged to complete the CPAWSB Learner Support Intake Form to request academic advising support.
