Study Permits
To maintain an active learner status, you must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Study Permit while registered with the CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB).
Before your study permit expires, you must submit a study permit renewal application and may be require to submit an appendix to the study permit. If you do, please send your e-mail request to:

- if you are registered in CPA PEP, email [email protected].
Before submitting your appendix request, please check that your name and contact information is correct on the student portal.
Residency Status Change
If your residency status has changed and you are now a Permanent Resident or a Canadian Citizen, please provide your documentation to [email protected], and we will update your account.
Please note: An in-progress Permanent Resident application or work permit DOES NOT meet the study permit requirements to maintain student/candidate status.

Answers to your questions may be found by utilizing the IRCC Help Centre tool or you can call the IRCC Client Support Centre or submit an IRCC web form if you have already submitted a permit application or have an existing IRCC profile. - Your local embassy
- A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor (RISIA) registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). You can perform an ‘Advanced RCIC Search’ to find registered professionals in your area [country, province/region, city].
