Changes to the Information Technology (IT) and Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) Prerequisite Requirements

The CPA Competency Map has increased focus on Information Technology (IT) and Data Analytics and Information Systems (DAIS) competencies. As a result, there have been two changes to the prerequisite requirements for entry into the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP):
  1. The IT course will change from a non-core to a core prerequisite requirement for admission to CPA PEP starting May 1, 2022.
  2. The DAIS requirement will be required by students for entry to CPA PEP starting September 1, 2023.
