CPAWSB Learner Conduct Guide
The CPA Western School of Business (CPAWSB) Learner Conduct Guide applies to all learners enrolled in CPA education. This guide lays out the expectations for learners to follow for academic integrity and behavioural conduct.
The CPA profession is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all learners and learning partners. All CPAWSB learners must display high standards of ethical behavior and integrity. Instances of unprofessional conduct may result in disciplinary action.
Academic Integrity and the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The Academic Integrity and the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy outlines how Pre-Certification Education learners can responsibly and ethically use generative AI. The policy highlights the importance of upholding academic integrity standards and originality when utilizing generative AI during their studies. The policy and guidelines can be found on the CPA Canada Website.
Training Contract
All candidates need to read, understand, and sign the CPA training contract. It includes sections relating to privacy, plagiarism, CPA systems, and materials. Please read the following related materials carefully so that you understand what falls under the definition of plagiarism, and avoid breaching any regulations that apply to you as a learner.
