Please ensure you submit your admission application at least five days before CPA PEP module registration closes. Refer to the CPA PEP schedule for module registration dates.
To start the application process, log into My CPA Portal and follow the steps below.
- Go to ‘Program Admission’ and click on ‘Admission Application’.
- Select the ‘PREP Graduate’ registration category.
- Select preferred PEP Session.
- Complete declarations and consent as prompted.
- Pay the initial registration fee.
- Upload government issued ID.
This completes the submission of your Admission Application. Your application will be reviewed and approved within three business days.
If you have completed any outstanding pre-requisites at a post-secondary institution and have not yet submitted the transcript, please have your official transcript forwarded to our office.
You are not required to submit documentation for courses taken through CPAWSB.
Your transcript assessment will be updated to reflect the completed prerequisite course(s) before the start of Core 1. A university degree and 120 post-secondary credit hours are required for entry to CPA PEP. Please note expired courses may impact your eligibility.
- You will receive an email notification once your admission application has been approved.
- You can then register via ‘My CPA Portal’ and pay for Core 1 during the CPA PEP module registration period.
- Module registrations received after the registration deadline are subject to a non-refundable waitlist fee. We will refund Core 1 module fees to students deemed ineligible to begin Core 1.
If you are unsuccessful in your last preparatory course, you will be required to register in the next offering of the course/exam by that exam registration deadline or you will be withdrawn from CPA PEP and will not be able to re-apply until you become eligible again.
Once Core 1 has begun, your account will be reviewed for outstanding fees. These additional fees will be calculated based on the CPA PEP candidate dues owed, less CPA preparatory course student dues paid for the applicable academic year (April 1 to March 31).
Core 1 registration* | Applicable CPA PEP dues* | Less applicable preparatory student dues* | Additional fees owed* |
Spring | $ 1,115 | $ 635 | $ 480 |
Summer | $ 1,115 | $ 635 | $ 480 |
Fall | $ 560 | $ 317.50 | $ 242.50 |
Winter | $ 560 | $ 317.50 | $ 242.50 |
*All fees are subject to GST. CPAWSB is engaged as the contractor for education delivery, on behalf of CPA British Columbia, CPA Alberta, CPA Saskatchewan and CPA Manitoba and collects GST on their behalf.
**CPA PEP dues vary based on the session you start Core 1. You will be required to pay the full applicable CPA PEP dues if you haven’t paid any preparatory student dues this academic year.
