CPA examinations are written in exam centres throughout Western Canada and marked by CPA Canada national markers.
Each preparatory course culminates in an exam. Results are typically released two weeks after the exam date.
Students are required to bring their own Texas Instrument BA II Plus calculators into examinations. Students are encouraged to use it during the course to become familiar with the functions. CPAWSB does not provide calculators during the exam and no other models—including the Texas Instrument BA II Professional—are permitted. The Texas Instrument BA II Plus is available for purchase from online retailers and office supply stores.
Please review the CPA Examination Regulations before the exam.

Examination Computer Requirements
Students write all exams using laptops. To prevent access to unauthorized materials, students lock down their computers using special exam software, called Securexam, which they must download onto the laptop they will use during exams. After enrolling in a preparatory course, students are provided with instructions on how to download the software.
Securexam runs on Windows-based laptops only. It cannot be used with Mac/Apple laptops (even if the device is using partitioned drives, or has ‘Boot Camp’ installed), any iOS device or laptops/tablets with detachable keyboards (such as the Microsoft Surface line of tablets), or any netbooks (devices that require the Internet to fully function). Please read additional information about CPAWSB computer requirements.
The following examination centres have IT proctors available to assist with any technical issues related to Securexam:
