Facilitators support candidates’ online learning by reviewing and providing timely feedback on the CPA PEP module activities throughout the nine-week module (see schedule of offerings). Facilitators also monitor the module discussion board and respond to candidate email inquiries in a timely manner. Facilitators spend approximately one to two hours per week per assigned candidate. New facilitators are limited to six candidates or fewer for their first facilitation experience.
Compensation is as follows:
Core and elective modules: $500 per candidate
Capstone 1: $1000 per group
Capstone 2: $185 per candidate
Interested applicants must live in western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or Yukon) and have a CPA designation.
Facilitator training includes a one-day, in-person training session and online activities to complete both before and after the in-person session. CPAWSB does not pay for participating in or travelling to the training.
Completing the training is mandatory; however, this does not guarantee a position.
New facilitators will be offered contracts based on candidate registration numbers and on their performance of the training activities.
CPAWSB is not currently accepting applications for this role. Please check back in fall 2017 for details on future training sessions.
