A lockdown software, called Securexam, is used to prevent students and candidates from accessing unauthorized materials during the exams.
IT proctors troubleshoot so students and candidates can continue writing their exams with as little interruption as possible if they experience technical issues related to Securexam before or during their exams.
Compensation is $50 per hour. Exam centres run from a half-day to a full day, and IT proctors are paid for time spent setting up before and wrapping up after each exam.
IT proctors must be technologically adept and need to learn how to troubleshoot Securexam. Additionally, IT proctors must be comfortable working under pressure, and able to maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor while addressing candidate technical issues during exams.
Proctors are expected to bring the following items to exam centres:
New IT proctors shadow an experienced IT proctor for their first exam. Additionally, CPAWSB regularly holds training webinars to familiarize new IT proctors with Securexam and how to run exam centres.
CPAWSB is always looking to expand its IT proctor pool. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com to inquire about next steps.
